The Post-9\/11 GI Bill\u00ae\u00a0<\/span>represents the largest expansion of education benefits to veterans since World War II. Eligible veterans can receive benefits to pay tuition, housing and textbook costs that could allow them to study at Adelphi for little to no cost.<\/p>\n The Post-9\/11 GI Bill\u00ae became effective for training on or after August 1, 2009.<\/p>\n The Post-9\/11 GI Bill\u00ae is for individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service on or after September 11, 2001, or individuals discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days. You must have received an honorable discharge to be eligible for the Post-9\/11 GI Bill\u00ae. Bill benefits<\/a> online or call the VA at\u00a0<\/span>888.442.4551<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>to have a form mailed to you.<\/p>\n Students interested in applying and enrolling at Adelphi, regardless of whether or not they will be eligible for G.I. Bill benefits, should immediately fill out a\u00a0Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)<\/a>.
