SOAP aims to maximize the utility of those resources. Adelphi is proud of the accomplishments our student organizations achieve. Those accomplishments are tracked by SOAP in an effort to support organizations and celebrate their outstanding and excellent goals.<\/p>\n<h2>Student Organization Rating Scale<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Accredited Organization<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding Organization<\/li>\n<li>Organization of Excellence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Accredited Organization<\/h3>\n<p>All student organizations are expected to complete the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\" aria-checked=\"false\"><b>Maintain an updated roster of current members on MyAULife<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rosters need to be updated by October 15<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and March 15<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">each year, and each organization is required to have 10 or more active members, based on your own constitution\u2019s definition of active membership.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\" aria-checked=\"false\"><b>Identify a faculty or staff advisor<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ensure they have filled out the<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/myaulife.adelphi.edu\/submitter\/form\/start\/501768\">Advisor Agreement<\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by October 1<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">st<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The agreement does not have to be completed again in the spring unless your advisor changes. It is suggested that advisors be full-time faculty\/staff members.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" aria-checked=\"false\"><b>Executive board must have a 2.3 cumulative GPA or higher<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the event an executive board member\u2019s GPA drops below the requirement, fill the vacancy based on the policies outlined in your constitution.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" aria-checked=\"false\"><b>Attend Fall and Spring Leadership Week training sessions<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Specific expectations will be shared in Leader Updates approaching the leadership weeks. A path form is required to earn credit for this requirement.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" aria-checked=\"false\"><b>Hold goal-setting and goal-review meetings with your SCE Liaison<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Goal setting meetings should be held by October 1<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">st<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and goal review meetings should be held every spring by February 15<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" aria-checked=\"false\"><b>Host an event each semester<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A path form is required to earn credit for this requirement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\" aria-checked=\"false\"><b>Complete Diversity Training<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All executive board members should complete Title IX training, SafeZone training, and C.O.R.E. training by the end of each school year.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\" aria-checked=\"false\"><b>Track Event Attendance and Service Hours<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submit to MyAULife to keep a record of your amazing accomplishments.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\" aria-checked=\"false\"><b>Submit a budget request each semester<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Details and deadlines will be provided by SGA.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\" aria-checked=\"false\"><b>Re-Register your organization<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Complete the re-registration form on MyAULife at the end of the spring semester.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Host (1) Friday evening event that\u2019s held after 5:00pm<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>Organizations must host at least (1) event on a Friday evening, after 5:00pm. Clubs are allowed to request an allocation for this event.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Attend (1) campus-wide initiative\/large scale campus programming<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>Initiatives include: Adelphi Spirit Weekend, Holiday Lighting, Panther Day of Service, Adelphi Gives Back Month, Relay for Life, Take Back the Night. Participation means that 75% or more of the e-board attended the event. Non-position holding members may attend in place of the e-board members, or in addition to the members.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Table at Panther Palooza<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>During Orientation Weekend, recruit new members for your club at Panther Palooza.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Attend (1) SGA meeting per semester<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>At least (1) E-Board member must attend an SGA meeting in both the Fall and Spring semester.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Conduct a Constitution Review<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>Meet with your SCE Liaison, make changes to your constitution, hold a vote, and re-upload to MyAULife. You must upload your revised constitution to the Form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Optional Opportunities to achieve Outstanding Organization<\/h3>\n<p>In order to obtain Outstanding Organization, <strong>you must complete all of the Accredited Organization requirements, as well as<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Host a meeting\/event with an emphasis on social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You must meet with your SCE Liaison to discuss the format and content of your event at least 30 days in advance. A path form is required to earn credit for this requirement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Participate in a campus-wide initiative<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adelphi Spirit Weekend, Relay for Life, Take Back the Night, or Adelphi Gives Back Month are great examples. Participation means that 5 or more members were actively engaged in the event.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A path form is required to earn credit for this requirement.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Attend (3) SGA meetings per academic year<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b>At least (1) E-Board member must attend (3) SGA meetings throughout the academic year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Host elections utilizing MyAULife<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Utilize the MyAULife election process to host elections as outlined in your constitution.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Conduct a Constitution Review<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meet with your SCE Liaison, make changes to your constitution, hold a vote, and re-upload to MyAULife.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A path form is required to earn credit for this requirement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Attend (3) campus-wide initiatives<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>Initiatives include: Adelphi Spirit Weekend, Holiday Lighting, Panther Day of Service, Adelphi Gives Back Month, Relay for Life, Take Back the Night. This year, we are changing our process for recognizing these organizations to align with ÿÈÕ´óÈü\u2019s core institutional values:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Academic excellence<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creativity and Innovation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Community and collaboration<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Global awareness and diversity<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Respect for the individual<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Truth and integrity<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To be recognized as an organization of excellence, organizations should meet the requirements for Outstanding Organization, and then also identify one of Adelphi\u2019s core values to make a focus for their organization for the year.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b><span>Host (1) Friday Evening, (1) Saturday, (1) Sunday event<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>(1) event must be held on a Friday evening after 5:00pm, (1) event must be held on a Saturday at any time, and the (1) event must be held on a Sunday at any time.<\/li>\n<li><b><span>Create a slide show of your club\u2019s accomplishments throughout the year<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>Include pictures from events, and a breakdown of the requirements you completed with examples and proof of events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How to Track Student Organization Accreditation Program Requirements (SOAP)<\/h3>\n<p><strong>The Basics:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">SOAP is tracked using your organization\u2019s email address. Please sign into your organization\u2019s profile with your username and password before filling out the required forms on MyAULife.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">There are 4 forms that need to be completed throughout the year before <strong>October 1st, December 15th, February 15th<\/strong>, and <strong>April 15th.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">These forms can be found on <a href=\"https:\/\/myaulife.adelphi.edu\/forms\">MyAULife under the forms tab<\/a> on the left hand side.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">There are requirements of each organization due before the specific due dates above.
