Giving Day is here, and Adelphi’s campus is full of reasons to give. For 1,896 minutes, every action counts and every Panther plays a role.

Through the #Give4Adelphi Student Scavenger Hunt on Wednesday, April 22, every clue you discover supports a cause, program or space that shapes our community and transforms lives at Adelphi.

There are —from athletics to academics, for inspiration and innovation.

How It Works

1. Find a clue and the cause it represents: Follow the clues and explore the people, places and programs that make Adelphi extraordinary.
2. Head to the University Center Lobby between 10:00am–4:00pm: Bring your clue to the Giving Day Photo Booth.
3. Share your impact: Take a photo at the booth and share it using  #Give4Adelphi to inspire others.
4. Enter to win: Complete a raffle entry for a chance to win one of two $150 Adelphi Dining meal cards.
5. Unlock giving: The clue you find will unlock a $100 gift in your name to the cause it represents—thanks to the generosity of the Grafer Family!

When all 21 clues are found, a total of $2,100 will be donated in students’ names to our Giving Day total, each .

Your Scavenger Hunt Clues

Hidden around our campus are 21 plushie puppies. Each one is a clue representing one of our 21 Giving Day causes.

Find them in any order. Where will you start?

1. Found! A hub of campus life, where something’s always going on; right in the middle of where you can find school gear and Starbies.
2. Found! Located just behind the residence halls, it’s where compassion and action help survivors and families.
3. Found! A center for young learners that opened in 2008.
4. Found! A space for neurodiverse students to calm their nerves and find acceptance for different ways of learning.
5. Found! One of Adelphi’s three oldest buildings on campus, home of our communications department and future filmmakers.
6. Found! One of Adelphi’s newest buildings, where future nurses and healthcare leaders prepare to care for others.
7. Found! Another one of Adelphi’s three oldest buildings on campus, it’s a third-floor space where professionals come to continue growing and learning.
8. Found! Where future psychologists and mental health professionals gather to unwind and chat.
9. Found! Home to some of the most dedicated scholars on campus.
10. Found! In the building with many books and academic resources, where innovators share knowledge and projects.
11. Found! Some students find one-on-one support, coaching, specialists, and guidance here.
12. Found! Where campus tours begin and future Panthers are welcomed.
13. Found! Where you buy tickets for performances and events, like Dance Adelphi—happening tonight.
14. Found! A place for future entrepreneurs and industry leaders to learn like a Wall Street pro.
15. Found! Training grounds for future teachers, fitness leaders, and speech experts.
16. Found! Those who study here dedicate their lives to social justice and community.
17. Found! Head here to pick up a book or put one on reserve.
18. Found! Where you go to complete an invigorating full-body workout.
19. Found! Where past Panthers stay connected and alumni come to give back.
20. Found! Where you build your resume, explore careers, and connect with future opportunities.
21. Found! Champions aren’t made overnight. They are made here.

When you find a clue, bring it to the table at our Giving Day Photo Booth in the UC Lobby, take a photo, and fill out a raffle ticket. $100 will be donated in your name to your clue’s cause.
