As a young woman from a small town in Connecticut, Sarah Cinquemani knew that she did not wish to attend a large university, such as UConn. She wanted to attend a smaller institution that provided access to her professors.

Bernadine Waller, MA '10, associate director of experiential learning at Adelphi's Center for Career and Professional Development and a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Social Work, was awarded a National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) R36 grant to complete her dissertation.

"Adelphi was the right size because you can get a lot of attention there that you wouldn't get at these huge campuses with 50,000 or 60,000 students. For me, it was a very nurturing campus."

When you walk into the Museum of Arts and Design in Manhattan, you'll see 125 pieces of colorful coral art relating to coral bleaching events and clay art exploring the possibilities of varied surfaces. This is聽Lauren Skelly Bailey: Studio Focus, an exhibit displaying the work of聽Lauren Skelly Bailey '12, M.A. '14, through January 13, 2019.

During the October 2018 Spirit Week 10 Under 10 Induction and Reception, Adelphi's first alumni affinity group was announced鈥攚ith big plans to come.

The 每日大赛 Board of Trustees elected three new members on October 1, 2018: Michael A.L. Balboni '81, J.D.; Carmen M. Ortiz '78, J.D., '12 (Hon.); and Michael J. Tiedemann '89.
